How can I register to Vote?

You can register right now, by following this link Voter Online Registration Form and mailing your signed voter registration form in today!

You can also stop by the LIFETIME office, go to your local library, US Post Office, or county elections office to complete your registration form or you can follow this link to print out, complete, and mail in your registration form at your own convenience.

When are the voter registration deadlines?

In California the deadline to register to vote in a state or local election is 15 days prior to the Election Day

Upcoming California election dates and registration deadlines are as follows:

November 2, 2010 is a General election, Primary, and Senate District 1 election - the deadline to register to vote is October 18, 2010

January 4, 2011 is a General election, and Senate District 1 - the deadline to register to vote is December 20, 2010

(Local elections may vary from county to county)

When should I re-register to vote?

Re-register any time you change your name, change permanent residence, or if you change your political party.

How can I volunteer?

You can volunteer by calling the LIFETIME office at (510) 352-5160 and ask to be a part of the "Become a LIFETIME Voter" project.

The Become a LIFETIME Voter project began as a pilot program in 2008. LIFETIME successfully registered 175 new voters and distributed voter information packets to hundreds of individuals in 2008 and this year LIFETIME will continue to strengthen the voice of our community!
