Campaigns and Events - Mamas on the Move!!

LIFETIME parent leaders protest the Governor's proposed budget cuts by holding a "Shirts Off Our Backs" event at the state capitol.

Through leadership development, advocacy training, and political education, LIFETIME works with student parents to organize for public policies that help parents graduate off welfare — and out of poverty — for good.

End Poverty, Not Welfare! Campaign
 Is a statewide campaign to end welfare time limits and to insure that all low-income parents have access to education and training and jobs at wages that support their families.

LIFETIME presents its findings during its "Family Violence is Not an Option" briefing in Washington D.C.
 

State Budget Work
In response to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger's proposed budget cuts, which target poor children and families throughout California, LIFETIME conducted a Sacramento Budget Action to educate low-income families about the state budget process.
