Family Violence is Not an Option
Workshop Presenters: Diana Spatz, Cassandra Barham Denton, and Renita Pitts
In the coming year, Congress will reauthorize Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), the 1996 legislation that created welfare reform. Join, Women for Economic Justice (WEJ), a national coalition of low-income women's organizations in seven states, in a discussion about how we can make family violence protections and services a requirement under the reauthorization of TANF in 2010-2011
